Tour Impressions – Naoussa, City of Wine
On the last day of the event “Naoussa – the city of wine” Trigiro organized a hiking tour through the vineyards of Xinomavro visiting Kir-Yianni Estate and Domaine Foundi.
This time we where a big international group. We had a splendid sunny December day with a lot of fun, nice discussions and Xinomavro experiences. On the balcony of the winery surrounded by vineyards we enjoyed the sun, tasted local products like Batsos cheese and olives accompanied by Xinomavro wine… this was an incredible feeling with impressive pictures. The tour closed in the wine cellar of the Foundi family, where the owner explained us the different qualities of the Xinomavro wine, pouring it into our glasses.
